Enclosure Mechanization
Uni-Systems Engineering teamed with M3 Engineering to produce design for the azimuth and shutter mechanisms. Both systems were iterations of the mechanisms first designed by M3 for the Magellan Observatories, with improvements made to the reliability and maintainability following a site visit and RAMS (Reliability, Accessibility, Maintainability, and Safety) analysis and report.
